MANAGEMENT |
MultiSystems Project Managers will be responsible for the system implementation since
the project cradle to death. This means, the project manager will be responsible for:
>> Project Scheduling - including the coordination of the resources and
equipment involved in the project
>> Project Monitoring and Control - including tracking, identification and
management of milestones, deadlines, problems and performance of the project
>> Status Reports - to both, MultiSystems and the customer, assuring that every
project is completed successfully on time.
>> Quality Assurance - including the selection of the internal standards applying
to the project, monitoring the project against the customer contractual requirements and
monitoring the quality of the system performance
>> Manage the MultiSystems Project Change Control Procedure |
| SYSTEM
DESIGN |
| A development effort is initiated with the identification of an idea or need for a
system to be developed. Our technical staff will analyze our customers' requirements to
document the needs for the intended system. A typical system design could include the
system architecture, flowcharts, screens, databases, utilities, AutoCAD drawings for
material handling and controls, Radio Frequency Site Survey (when applicable), quality
assurance documentation, implementation approach and project schedule. |
| PROGRAMMING |
| Our programmers will develop programs in UNIX, Window NT/95, and PLC ladder logic. We
typically program in 'C++' and Visual Basic with ODBC interface to SQL databases. We also
develop Man Machine Interfaces (MMI) using the most popular packages in the industry. We
will provide interfaces between analog and digital equipment such as pneumatic pistons,
scanners, and weigh in motion scales into the desired application. |
| DOCUMENTATION |
| As part of the system deliverables we normally include a User Manual which is used in
the day to day operation of the system. In addition, we offer a Spare Parts List of the
components necessary to maintain the system operational. Depending of the complexity of
the system, we will also include a System's Administration Manual. These documents are
used during training sessions. We provide documentation that complies with standards
established by many Regulatory Agencies, such as FDA. |
| SYSTEM
VALIDATION |
| Depending on the contractual requirements signed with the customer, MultiSystems could
develop the validation protocol including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational
Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) for the system. This is specially
important in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals and the food industry. |
| INSTALLATION |
| As part of the post-development process, MultiSystems install the system. A system
could include both hardware and software components. The installation process consists of
the transportation and installation of the system from the development to the target
environment. It includes the hardware and software installation, setup and configuration,
integration, necessary modifications, tests, and customer acceptance. |
| TRAINING |
| The development of quality system products is largely dependant upon knowledgeable and
skilled people. Customer personnel will be trained operate and maintain the system.
Training will include different levels depending on the skills needed to support
particular functions of the system. After the system is installed and trained,
MultiSystems, Inc. will offer a maintenance contract for the hardware as well as the
software installed. |
| MAINTENANCE |
| Once the system is installed and the personnel is trained, MultiSystems offers a
warranty period for the system developed and implemented. A maintenance contract for the
system is available after the warranty developed and implemented. |
