Since 1987 MultiSystems, Inc. has pioneered in developing and providing bar code and mobile solutions, as well as “cloud-based” software applications, for clients in Puerto Rico, the continental U.S. and the Caribbean region. Radamés del Mazo, one of the founders of MultiSystems explained that the key to the success of MultiSystems “is definitely our employees.”
“More than 75% of our employees have been with us for 10 years or more,” said del Mazo, adding that the fact is impressive in a business where the average of an employee in a tech company is between two and three years. “We care and value them as the most essential resource for our success, and in turn this represents a consistency in our process of developing innovative solutions for our clients.”
From Puerto Rico, the company has proved that it is more than capable to provide automation solutions in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, logistics and retail among others, that adapt to the needs of clients in the region, including Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic — where MultiSystems has offices. MultiSystems also serve clients in countries and jurisdictions in the region such as Jamaica, Aruba, Bahamas and Bermuda, and have plans to expand into other markets. The company has a roster of more than 1,000 clients, ranging from small and medium businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
“We are also focused on expanding our WMS (warehouse management system) and field sales applications as a service (SaaS) in the region, where there are many opportunities and a variety of clients we can work with, and the location of our already existing offices in the region will help us in achieving this goal,” said del Mazo. “These are proprietary SaaS solutions developed by the team at MultiSystems, which speaks of the high caliber, experience and creativity of our employees.”
Always on the road to develop solutions with the latest technology and that are relevant to the needs of clients, del Mazo said that MultiSystems is working on location services, RFID and voice recognition technologies.
